You can get it as soon as you reach the Hillcrest neighborhood. Turn around by 180 degrees and take an interest in the pit with a car wreck shown in the picture. Climb onto the cargo space of the pick-up and smash the rear passenger window. This will allow you to pick up a collectible hidden inside the vehicle. Join WLF Note It's an artifact. You can find it inside the Majestic Laundromat building, which you will encounter shortly after the stage begins. Visit the dark office. The note will be lying on the desk. Workbench 1 This secret in the Hillcrest stage can also be found in the initial part of the mission. In this case, take interest in the building in the picture, which is on the opposite side of the street. Once inside, jump into a hole in the wall and you'll end up in a basement with a workbench. Boris' Daughter's Drawing It's an artifact. Stay in the basement where you found the workbench described above. The drawing is on a box. Need a Plan Note It's an artifact. You can search for it once you reach the area with Ruston Coffee cafe that is visible in the distance. Don't go towards the café yet, just turn left. In the place shown in the picture, climb up and smash one of the shop exposition windows of Caroline Paper Co. Enter the shop. You'll find the note in an unlit spot - it lies on the table. Sahir the Sorcerer Trading Card It's a collector's trading card - a collectible. It is located inside the Caroline Paper Co. building, which also contained the document described above. Go to the back of the building and remove the card from the small box shown in the picture. Yolanda's Note It's an artifact. Not far from the place of obtaining the 2 secrets described above there is a Used & Rare Books shop - go inside. The document you are looking for is on the counter. Journal entry You still have to stay in the area where you found the two other secrets described above in the Hillcrest stage. Take an interest in the blurred banner hanging to the left of Ruston Coffee cafe. There will be an opportunity to make a new entry in the journal. Workbench 2 The workbench in the Hillcrest stage can be found shortly after solving a mini-environmental puzzle with the trash container. Use the latter to climb onto the garage roof. Make a jump into a hole in the wall of an adjacent building. You'll find yourself in a room with a workbench. Naledi the Youthful Trading Card It's a collector's trading card - a collectible. Stay where you found the workbench table described above. Turn to the right and search the dark area shown in the screenshot. The secret is lying between the spokes of a children's bike. Condolence Note It's an artifact and you can get it right after you've found the workbench described above. The document lies on a desk in one of the adjacent rooms of the building. Note in Hillcrest Tattoo Parlour It's an artifact. You may find this note after you reach a new larger area in the screenshot presented above. Ellie notices a staircase in the distance. By the time you reach the stairs you can get the secret, as well as several more collectibles. Head to the Velvet Tattoo on the left. You can find the document on a table at the back of the building. Safe You must stay in the area where you visited the tattoo parlor described above, in the Hillcrest stage. Move to the back of this building and you will find the Auto Repairs car service shown in the picture. The entrance to the workshop is blocked with a container - there is a group of infected inside. Start running away immediately after removing the container and opening the garage door. You can return to this place after a short while - there shouldn't be any monsters inside the building. The safe is inside the workshop building. Safe code - 30-82-65 you get it from a note that you will find in one of the next locations. Training Manual Precision The training manual isn't among the collectibles mentioned at the level selection screen but nevertheless is an important item, as collecting it unlocks a new category of passive skills that can be bought for supplements. The new abilities make it easier to locate opponents and fire precise shots. You must start by entering the Goldstar Liquor building. You'll find a hole in it - jump to the basement. In the basement, there are some Shamblers - you can decide to defeat them or focus on reaching the stairs shown in the picture. The stairs will allow you to reach the first floor of the building. You'll find the book on the floor next to the mummified monster. Locker Turn in Boris Note It's an artifact. You must remain in the area where some of the secrets described above were found. In this case, take an interest in the Pet Boutique - this is one of the buildings on the right side of an overgrown street. You need to be ready to get rid of a group of infected which are wandering inside the building. After killing them, locate the locked glazed room and get inside by smashing one of the shutters. The document is on an oblong table. Dale's Combo It's an artifact and it's in the same building as the secret described above, which is the Pet Boutique. You'll find it on a tiled wall. It is worth adding that this document contains a hint to open the safe described earlier. Brainstorm Trading Card It's a collector's trading card - a collectible. You can find it once you reach the apartment house shown in the picture. This takes place after taking a long climb up the stairs and bypassing / defeating some of the infected. Take an interest in the yellow children's home shown in the picture, which is located on the left. The trading card is hidden behind the yellow house. Rosemont's Flyer It is an artifact and it can be found shortly after obtaining the trading card described above. Go inside the house and search it. The flyer is on one of the shelves. Boris' Confession It is an artifact and it can be found inside the same house where the secret described above was hidden. The document will be on a table in the living room. You'll find the collectible just before reaching the garage where you get the bow. Reverb Trading Card It's a trading card, and it's one of the most difficult to get secrets of this mission. You can find the card soon after you get the bow. After acquiring a bow, Ellie will jump over the wooden fence and enter an the area shown in the picture that is full of new enemies with dogs. Clear the entire area of enemies. However, don't leave it yet. You must investigate the last building on the right side of an overgrown road as shown in the picture above. Walk inside and climb the stairs. Once you've reached the upper floor, open the front door. On the right side you will find a damaged wall fragment as shown in the picture. Squeeze through it in order to get into a bedroom that isn't accessible in any other way. You must get interested in a bed in the bedroom. Lie down on the ground. When you activate Ellie's sight mode, you will see a scent trail - when a dog comes across your scent, you will need to change position quickly. You can, for example, enter the water to remove the smell. You can avoid enemies, although it is much safer to eliminate them quietly - set up a mine trap to eliminate the dog tracking you. You can kill the rest of the enemies by, using the tall grass and numerous creeks between buildings to get behind their backs. Your goal is to reach the big red doors that say Exit. Outside, you will find two runners you need to kill. Your job is to break through the nearby bar which has a Shambler and a runner. Go to the back of the bar and then take the stairs up. Getting a bow You will see black smoke - go towards it. Along the way, you will come across three runners. After the fight, search the surrounding houses - one of them has shattered door. Go through it and you will be attacked by a new enemy - stalker. This enemy is the next mutation level. The opponent is quick, can dodge, and is more dangerous in melee combat. Dodge and try to eliminate him quickly. As a reward, you will get a bow. Go outside and practice shooting. Remember to take arrows from shot targets afterward. Jump over the fence and you will come across another wolf patrol. Second wolf patrol Start this encounter by remaining undetected. Try to eliminate the lone woman - leave the man with a dog for later. Jump through the window and you will encounter more WLF soldiers.
